Member Benefits

Networking: We offer numerous opportunities for networking for our 1800+ members, including our monthly Business After Hours, Coffee Clubs and Networking @ Noon events, which are all FREE of charge to our members. In addition, we also offer First Year Member Networking to all members in their first 15 months of membership.  

Referrals: We refer only Chamber members to those seeking companies in the area for specific products and services.  Members may also place their advertising brochures in the racks in our lobby.  

Website: All of our members are listed on our website, www.brandonchamber.com, and receive free links to their websites and/or email addresses (the email address is kept private, but the link is available).    

Advocacy: We have a very active Government Advisory Council who participate in the grassroots efforts of the Florida Chamber and the U.S. Chamber as well as advocating for the issues of our businesses on a local level. The GAC is also responsible for the yearly Legislative and Congressional Update Luncheons as well as the annual Tallahassee Trek.  

Seminars/Workshops: We offer several venues for education, including the Biz Ed 101 seminar series (1 hour per month over lunch) as well as the “Working Smarter” series (1 hour per month in Aug., Sept., Oct., Nov. & Jan. over breakfast). We also offer free business counseling one day per month through the Hillsborough County Small Business Information Center.  

Job Board: Our members have the opportunity to post available job openings FREE of charge on our job board at www.brandonchamber.com.  

Exposure: All members are listed FREE of charge in the membership section of The Brandon Area Directory, the full-service telephone book that is produced by the Chamber and is distributed to approximately 120,000 homes and businesses in the Greater Brandon ara. In addition, they are also listed in the yearly Relocation/Membership Guide that is distributed to potential residents as well as newcomers to the area.    

Discounts: Our members receive a discount on yellow page advertising in The Brandon Area Directory that is mentioned above as well as Member 2 Member Discounts from participating members.  

Committee Participation: Members are invited and encouraged to participate in the various committees/task forces of the Chamber, including, but not limited to, Business & Education, International, Military Affairs, Minority & Women-Owned Businesses, Small Business Development, Membership/Ambassadors, Member Value, Government Advisory Council, Health Fair, Golf, and more….
